The Bowling Shoes of Obama

November 18th, 2008

Obama was not scared for a game of bowling during his campaign. However Gucci found the bowlingshoes a bit boring and came up with their own version:

The shoes of John Galliano were quite remarkable this Paris Fashion Week.

Meep Meep

October 12th, 2008

This feathery shoe of Karen Millen reminds me a bit of Roadrunner the cartoon. I am not entirely sure if this shoe is worth running after.

Have You Seen My Heels??

October 10th, 2008

Victoria Beckham and her fabulous taste.. But where is the fabulous heel? It seems likes he either has had a little accident on the way to Macy’s or it’s a new trend. Turns out that these shoes are made by Antonio Berardi. He wanted women to look like ballerina’s because he likes the way they walk. So elegantly on their toes… well it is on her toes, but I am not sure if it is elegantly..

Cut-out platform

October 8th, 2008

Giuseppe Zanotti has reinvented the platform shoe. Maybe the Spice Girls looked a little heavy shoe-ed? Anyways he cut out a piece of the platform to add a little change. The shoe is made out of wood and it looks like Zanotti tried to give a chic look to it. Hmm.. not my favorite..

Sergio Puma

October 6th, 2008

What do you get when you mix Sergio Rossi with Puma? Either a very chic sneaker or a sporty pump.. Well Sergio and Puma made a mix of both. They used the with to create a snicker-ish look and the hip trendy purple makes the sneaker a little bit posh. Well I do not have to mention what makes it a pump… Yay or Nay?

A Rose is A Rose is A Rose

October 4th, 2008

Colin Stuart designed an evening shoe which is absolutely adorable. It’s made of satin, a big plus for chicand it has a rose on the heel. I personally love it when a designer is inventive, love roses on the toe but this is very unique.

Aren’t they beautiful? Giuseppe Zanotti always seems to surprise me. These strappy sandals leave just enough strap for comfort and the jewel design is truly amazing!

Look at my trendy mice…

September 22nd, 2008

What’s up with the mouse? From hated and scary animal to adored pet is one thing, but to wear it as a fashion item on my feet? It is clear that Latino Sole and Marc Jacobs are not afraid of mice!
